Description:

Large colony of conk mushrooms on pine tree. Colony is approximately 3 feet across.

Habitat:

High mountain pine forest.

Notes:

I revisited this site in August 2015. The colony had been destroyed. All I could see were bits of conks scattered throughout the soil zone.
