Field Notes

Description:

It's a hugh brown/beige mushroom. I've put my GPS device next to it to see the size of the mushroom. They are edable when they are young, but becomes inedible like all polypores when they are older, because it is too tough to eat.

Habitat:

I've seen it in a mixed forest at the food of an old oak tree.

Notes:

Thanks to Anna Whipkey I got the right ID.

Thanks Anna to give me the right ID. It could have been a nice lunch ;-) (I learned so.)
