Description:
These worms are commonly seen on tropical corals - particularly on Porites species. They are tubular burrowers, and what is seen (also in the picture) are their prostomial palps - highly modified mouth and gill structure that is used for both suspension feeding and respiration. They come in all colours and are beautiful parts of the coral reefs.
