Not sure about the genus Centaurea. I think the leaves in the background aren't the same as the flower. The leaves look like Coreopsis to me.
Can be Bachelor Button like cultivar
Dan I feel its look like Commercial cultivar in Genus Centaurea. See the leafs are so similar..!!
I suspect its already appeared on Project Noah.. !!
It could be that tribe, it has 1300 species, but I'm not sure.
Dan do you thinking about Vernonieae tribe...?
Assured Asteraceae family... or Daisy...!!
The flowers resemble sow thistle, Sonchus, but these are nicer. Plus I can't seem to find any orange types, but it might be the same genus.
