Description:

The heath humble-bee is found in mountain forest clearings and meadows, as well as on makia vegetation . The bumblebee visits various food sources, such as clover, bird's-foot trefoil, cowberry, thistles, and many others. The pictured bumblebee was spotted foraging on a stachys germanica plant, in Pelion mountain, Greece.
