Description:

This common blackbird was singing his heart out outside my window late this afternoon, sitting on top of a young pine tree. Yellow bill and eye-ring, black plumage, and a melodious song.

Habitat:

Forests and gardens. Breeds in Europe, Asia, and North Africa; introduced to Australia and New Zealand

Notes:

Will mimic other species of birds, cats, humans and even phone rings!
