Description:

Very clumsy beetle attracted to lights at night. Grubs feed on grass roots.

There are over 100 species in that genus, so there's a good chance that it could be one of those. I've been finding similar ones myself.

It kind of looks like it, but mine has white near its mouth which doesn't match.
