Description:
This is very beautiful, bright yellow flower. It is about 3-4 inches in height. The center of the flower is a dark yellow-green and is great for bees to pollinate. The edges of the pedals have a few light tints of pink. It is very popular and widely used as a decorative garden plant or as cut flowers. It is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds, but resistant to deer.
Habitat:
It is native to tropical regions of South America, Africa and Asia. Their soil should be kept fairly moist, but not soaked. It usually is found in grasslands, meadows, gardens, urban areas and areas near the roadsides. It can survive in both dry and wet habitats, but it prefers well-drained soils and a lot of direct sun. It can live in any continent except Antarctica.
