Field Notes

Description:

Quite a big bug. About 8 cm. Not really sure which kind of Acanthocephala it is. It does not seem to match any I find.
This one has spikes at his sides and only the upper part of it legs is leaf like. The Antennae are also very different in colour and pattern then the other leaf footed bugs I have found.

Habitat:

In the kitchen in our house. Altamira, Caracas. Venezuela. Near the Avila and the Caribbean. At 1000m altitude.
