Description:

This orange wasp is coupled with a wingless female. She lays eggs in the larvae of beetles in the ground. He will carry her around in flight.

Habitat:

On Eucalyptus

To my surprise I found this wasp is male and the smaller wingless one is the female. She will burrow underground to lay eggs in the larvae of certain beetles. http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_vespoidwasps/YellowFlowerWasp.htm
