Description:

This bee was larger than the bees I usually see, about the size of a Nickel.

Notes:

The smaller bees were pollinating the lavender right next to the purple ice plants, these bigger bees were pollinating the purple ice plant flowers. They were not attacking each other in any way as they flew around.
