Description:

The Tree Grayling (Hipparchia statilinus) is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. The species can be found in Central Europe, Southern Europe, North Africa, Anatolia and the Caucasus.
The wingspan is 21–25 millimetres (0.83–0.98 in). The butterflies fly in one generation from June to October. The flight season refers to the Netherlands. This may vary in other parts of the range.
