Field Notes

Description:

This single trunk cactus has long multiple crossed needles. It is tapered with a bulge in the lower third. This one is about 4 feet tall.

Habitat:

Dry areas in soil that drains well. Sunshine.

Notes:

A happy cactus.

Your welcome. Many of my house plants are from countries I've traveled to but I got them all here in Canada. Very difficult to get plants home in my backpack!

Its a Pachypodium, either geayi or lamerei. I'm leaning towards P. lamerei. I have this as a houseplant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachypodium
