Your spotting finally has an ID. All the thanks must go to Kim (Small Wonders) I asked for help with mine after spending a lot of time looking myself. I saw yours while looking on PN. I knew right away your spotting and the one I will be posting soon, are from the same family. Your fungi had not developed to the point to actually look like a birds nest.
