Field Notes

Description:

7 large pettals on each flower and they are sticky. Ovate evergreen leaves. The second picture is better than the first.

Habitat:

Normally found in pine flatwoods and scrub of peninsular and north Florida. I found it at the Jacaranda Library just off the parking areas.
