I thought so ceherzog, its just hard to give a correct ID sometimes with nothing to go on but a photo. Marta says in a national park, but maybe it was in a cultivated garden near the entrance or something. A few notes about where it was taken would help a lot.
I'm not saying you didn't photograph it in Costa Rica. I believe, it was just the orchid I thought it might be doesn't seem native to Costa Rica. But either way, I think Susan is right with a more specific name than my suggestion. It really looks like nun's orchid, take a look
