Description:

The Fashion Commodore (Precis pelarga) is a species of butterfly in the Nymphalidae family.

The underside of the wings resembles a dead leaf.

Precis pelarga has a wingspan reaching about 43–51 millimetres (1.7–2.0 in).

Habitat:

Seen sunning itself on some bushes by the side of a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.
