Thayer's gulls

Thayer's gulls are relatively large seagulls with much of their body - head, neck, breast, belly, and all but the tips of its underwings - mostly white, with some light brownish streaking on their heads and necks. Their legs are pink. In summer, the bill is a bright yellow with a discernible red spot on the lower mandible. Wingtips are black.
