Description:

These brilliant red flowers are on a shrub about 4 feet high. The blooms don't open wide. A real traffic stopper for insects.

Shady areas.

Yes..Joseph, its common in India and flowers even used for temple prayers. I will update of it as spotting as locate any tree here..!!

Alice you are right, its a popular type of Hibiscus shrub a separate species of cultivar. Flowers are very bright in colour.
