Description:

Huge termite nest, about 6' tall, 3' wide

Habitat:

transition zone between cerrado and atlantic coast rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this termite mound growing beside the trail in Parque do Caraca, about 3 hours from Belo Horizonte.
