Field Notes

Description:

About 10 cm tall, bell shaped silvery-brown caps, starting to liquify as they mature (well seen on pic N° 3, leaving the blackish stain on stems).

Habitat:

Found in protected lowland marshlands of Geneva lake valley, on shores of a pond. Undisturbed soil, but an area with a lot of human passage. Deciduous forests in and around this marshy area, and many agricultural fields close by.
