Field Notes

Description:

Unknown yellow flower, growing in the water at the edge of a lake shore. Yellow flowers have five petals and many stamen. Flowers were very small, about 1/4 of an inch or less. Have been unable to identify this one from my wildflower book or online yet.

Habitat:

Georgia Piedmont / Indian Springs State Park - growing on the edge of a lake, just in the water.
