Description:

Many of the bumblebees I find have either an orange or a white patch of hair on the very bottom of their abdomen, but this one had a black patch.

Habitat:

Hawkweed in a residential area

Bombus lucorum is on my list and it has both a yellow and white abdomen as mentioned by the poster.

From what I can find these are the most common on Kodiak Bombus gelidus*, Bombus lucorum*, Bombus mixtus*, Bombus pleuralis
