Description:

This Tarantula was squeezed into a crack, only legs showing. It was smaller than the previous spotting, a different species.

Habitat:

Taken with flash during a night walk through the rainforest/jungle beside the Braulio Carrillo National Park, Costa Rica.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Given the lack of distinct white or pink foot pads, it would not be any of the native Avicularia spp. I would lean towards this being Psalmopoeus sp. but it is difficult to tell without seeing the rest of the spider
