Field Notes

Description:

Large flocks of these birds are commonly seen and other large birds often join them. They are quite happy to fly with gliders also but trying to photograph them from gliders is not so easy, especially for the pilots! These photographs were taken from the ground.

Habitat:

Soaring over the sierras near Somosierra.
