Would someone mind helping me to identify this coniferous tree of some sort? The first picture is looking up at the trees; the second is a close up of their bark. Thank you!!!

Eastern Larch or Tamarack

Larix laricina

The dead giveaway is if these trees are deciduous conifers. If they lose their needles in the winter, they are Larch or Tamarack.
