Alpine ibex relaxing on mountain top.

Habitat:

Mountains, spotted at 2400m

Notes:

Thank you Marta! I think I will post the other who was dead sleeping few meters away from this one. I guess climbing on top of the mountain made him feel pretty tired... I will post the photos now!

Yes indeed, end of a 500mm :) I was very close to hi, indeed. I talked peacefully to him and showed him my presence quietly. I didn't joined him at the mountain top (extra top), as there would have been no escape way for him or me. So I stayed a bit and move back slowly while talking. I did it for bears and it worked so, I guess it's to make the animal feel calm and not stay too long. He looks healthy indeed, sunbathing on a mountain top must help :)

I guess he's probably still at the long end of a 400 or 500 mm zoom :-) Great stuff, I love the eyes. He looks very healthy.

Thank you Daniele, yes indeed, but not too close to not disturb him (too much I guess). Plus on a steep ridge, you don't want any trouble :)
