Description:

The stem is in the second picture. It has a curious striped green branch with tiny leaves. The blossom is huge compared to the plant. The bell shaped blossoms are orange and reddish.

Habitat:

This is growing near cactus in an area of less water, though we have an average of 53.5 inches of rain in a year here in the Capital.

Notes:

Bright blooms. This plant has several synonyms.

Hi! My name is Laura, and I am a researcher at the Institute of Botany, Spain. We are studying the hybrid Kalanchoe houghtonii, hybrid between K. daigremotiana and K. tubiflora (Bryophyllum tubiflorum). It would be very useful to know if whether the observed individual of K. tubiflora from your picture is cultivated or, on the contrary, survive by its own (that is, escaped from cultivation).
