According to wiki, the burera simaruba has shiny dark red bark.
Is it endangered.. as I see on net info..?
AshishNimkar, I've edited the spotting to include a reference. The smooth bark intrigues me. It is native to the southeast US, but is common farther south. In Costa Rica we saw many trees that were planted as fences--farmer's fences. This tree is growing on the beachside of our area, but it will not weather the cold where I live on the mainland.
I do not able to study the tree in this picture, but its a super shot..I like to know more information from you about this tree.
