Tall stipe with a large umbrella. Umbrella curls up upon maturity and spores are released.

Habitat:

Moist gravel after a hard rain 2-7 days.

That is wild... it looks like it's melting or something! What a spectacular fungi!
It looks like it belongs to the genus Coprinus, however at this state it's hard to say to which species. It is quite typical for this kind of fungi to come apart into an ink-like substance after some time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coprinus
