This eagle flew down to the rocks at the edge of the Androscoggin River to take a drink of water.

Very cool series! Going up to the river to spot some in Washington next week
Many think that raptors soley get their moisture from their food but that is simply not true! I've seen hawk and other raptors "lap" up water in rivers, ponds and puddles! Great series!
