One-footed American Pied Oystercatcher

The American oystercatcher (also called the American pied oystercatcher), is marked by its black and white body and a long, thick orange beak. This shorebird is approximately 42 – 52 cm in length. This specific specimen is missing its left foot, although it didn't seem too bothered by it. It clearly had found a way to be somewhat comfortable when resting, and it doesn't look like he's underfed.
