Field Notes

Description:

Coryphantha genus, known as Nickel's cactus, beehive, nipple or pineapple cactus. Very pretty. I found it at Lost Maples State Natural Area May 20 or there about. The interesting thing is that the USDA website doesnt list this cacti as present in Real or Bandera counties where I saw several specimens.

Habitat:

Mexico, Texas
