Field Notes

Description:

A scorpion native to southeastern Australia. It is typically around 25–40 mm long. Its colour consists of different shades of brown.

Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll bushland. Usually found under pieces of wood.

Notes:

I've never seen one bigger than an inch (25cm) in length

It's easy to identify this scorpion here Martin, as it's the only one in Tasmania.
Yes, that's the same one as mine. I think ours are a bit darker. They are always so fat.
This is also found under the bark of eucalyptus trees.
