Thanks for the comments. still learning how to use. the last i saw the litte bird he was hiding under a pine tree. Not there today. Found in Churchtown P.A.
Looks alot like my barred rock chicks. :)
I agree with LauraMaria, this could be a baby Rook (Corvus frugilegus). It definitely would help to know where the picture was taken… What happened to this little fellow?
Oh what a cute little thing! I thought a baby jackdaw, but they would have blue eyes. Also thought maybe a baby rook. What would be great is if you could add the location you found this little guy in! You can edit your spotting and mark on the map on the right side of the page where in the world this is, because then people can rule out certain species when helping with the ID's!
