Field Notes

Description:

Glossy white on under side with no black dots. Male golden red above with narrow black borders. Borders are broader in wet seasonal form.

Habitat:

Powerful Flight. More common before and after rains. Not seen on flowers. Males visit damp patches and bird droppings.
