Next time I have to picture everything and not be too amazed by the size of the acorns so the ID will be easier! :)

Me neither ... Here we have only the "normal sized". These two pictures are the only ones I have-of tree and another one of acorn with some leaves at the background ...

Hi, Ursula! I think these acorns are from Quercus rubra, I can't see leaves very good but to me looks like Q. rubra
