I don't this is an emerald tree skink. Smaragdina are really green. I'm thinking Eutropis multifasciata because of the yellowish brush on the side.
I am familiar with the name bubuli, just not how it looks. We have a different name for this kind in our dialect though, but they could be the same.
The animal known as bubuli to Filipinos is a reptile having the scientific name Lygosoma smaragdinum. It is a skink. Check out the link: http://reptile-database.reptarium.cz/species.php?genus=Lamprolepis&species=smaragdina
