My pic, was at the same place, Santuario Ecológico they are in FB under that name ...(Santuario Ecológico)
Yes, Santa Elena, at night tour in the forest!
Is hard to see colors, The spider is in a hole, I see light of a torch... Martha, located it in Monteverde or Santa Elena, So that is the most posible species there....
I thought orange-kneed too, at first, but the knees really aren't very orange. Maybe another tarantula species, Or do females display less color?
the pic # 4. I place in my album (Noah) is one of this tarantulas...
I'd say its a Tarantula but that's about as far as my knowledge goes concerning tropical arachinds.
