Virginia Creeper

Virginia creeper is a native plant in Connecticut (alas, so is poison ivy). I like it because it not only supports local wildlife, but also has amazing fall color - brilliant red. The gazebo at Elizabeth Park in the rose garden is covered with it and is spectacular in September.

did it have any flowers? what color berries?

Neither oak nor sumac - look at google images of the vines. I'm trying to see if it's in one of my i.d. books...
