Field Notes

Description:

Green back and wings and more yellowish green underneath. Black and blue head and neck. Beautiful birds - I saw several of these while I was in southern Texas.

Habitat:

Spotted at the National Butterfly Center.

Notes:

The green jay occurs from southern Texas to Honduras.
