Found this lil guy hiding in the garage! Also found a petrified salamander in the garage, too. Eek!

This looks like a spotted salamander (Abystoma maculatum): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_salamander The typical yellow spots appear to be very light in this photo, but it could just be lighting or lack of moisture.
I am leaning more toward salamander, geckos have different feet
