Its color varies, individuals can also change color. Its name comes from its swollen tail, which is used to store fat.

I spotted this gecko on the wall of the bathroom near the campsite at Iwokrama reserve.

May be this is Pinstripe Crested Gecko
JuanDiTrani, Gecko can be found in warm climates throughout the world. So i think there is no much surprised to find the same species in the Americas.
Juan, you have to give me some time to reply to comments before you assume something. I do find it interesting you saw a similar species. Are you going to post it on Noah?
mmm, I thought it was interesting to find the same specie from Panama to Guyana. I guess you are not interested on biogeography
