Field Notes

Description:

This flowering plant is about 2 1/2 feet tall and at this stage looks like a small plant and not a shrub. The flowers appear to have two colors of stamen and pistil.

Habitat:

Open meadows, sunny.

Notes:

Looking closely I discovered this new to me purple flowering plant. There are different Solanum species on this Island.
