Edible . Used as a substitute for Tarragon. Leaves also have flavor of anise. Also known as Mexican mint.

Emma, have you smelled the plant? I have grown this plant in my yard and it is called Mexican Marigold, it does not look like the regular Marigold. If it does not smell like Marigold, then I am wrong. I got mixed up in replying to you so I apologize if you get this twice.Alice
Thanks ALice. I have eaten what is Marigold and these flowers look very different from Marigolds.
