Description:

Army ants are probably the most important predators in the rain forest. They make temporal nests (Bivouacs) in hollow trees and raid all the area for about a month, until they change their nest place carring all the larvae and pupae

In regard to care is this colonial surrogate care or parental care?
As they don't have a permanent nest, they have to carry even the larves when they move to a new temporary nest ...
