For the area garden tours, garden clubs/societies, and local independent nurseries are the best groups to ask about starting garden tours. Often, you can also tie them to a charity for fundraising. Tour for the Cure types of thing. Also, I can't help ID this, but I also have a similar spotting. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6446145
That is making me quite envious!! Maybe I'll approach a local hardware store close to my hometown & see what they think of doing the same!! What a way to spread good cheer!! :)
It really is a great deal of fun--seeing so many beautiful plantings and meeting nice, interesting, talented people. (most offered drinks and snacks--even lunch!)
Wow! Wish we had "pond & garden" tour up here in Ohio - that sounds like such fun!! :)
A local hardware store in our area sponors a "Pond and Garden" tour every year. People volunteer to open their homes and gardens to visitors for a day. A friend and I visited several homes on this year's Tour (the source of my last few spottings).
