Description:

El tallo floral crece alrededor de 1 m con una umbela de flores blancas en el ápice. En el centro de la umbela suele aparecer una única flor de color caoba o negro, estéril, que simula un insecto para atraer a otros. La raíz comestible suele ser de color naranja, blanca o en una combinación de rojo y blanco,
