A fishing spider,(Dolomedes). It spreads its legs on the water's surface to detect ripples from insects that fall into the water, then rushes out to grab them. Fish swimming below the water are also caught by this hunting spider. The spider may even dabble its leg in the water to attract small fish towards its waiting fangs.
