no proplem, and sorry for before, maybe ( not unlikely) we had confused you before. but here some picture were you can decide/compare again for yourself: "clitocybe nuda" ( http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9863574 ), take a look at the 3 picture (see the gills, when this mushroom matured and the cap opens, the gills are spreading a bit) AND "Laccaria amethystina " ( http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7627110 ), where the gills stand really far apart. My suggestion is still the clitocybe!! cheers :)
christiane, the laccaria should be to small for your fungi, there is next to the clitocybe also another fungi (tricholoma species) which could also be, but i think the wood blewit should, hit the nail
It can be Magical mushrooms yeah, but don't send the dog to rehab, I have a dog like that in the Philippines they really enjoy the nature. My one even licked bullfrogs! I was really concern but it was fine as if they don't get the poisonat all that we human do get.
Thanks Gina9210.. I don't think there a poison. My dog was tasting them! But you never know with him.. he is licking CANE Toads for fun!!! I want to send him to a rehabilitation for dog!! So maybe these are MAGICAL MUSHROOMS!!
that's my very concern too Christiane when it comes to naming mushrooms from australia, Canada and the US I am always have a concern if I am getting it right. I am OK with the UK and Europe but not so familiar in your part of the world. I hope someone can recognize it. I myself will continue to research.
@ Gina9210.. I am not sure.. Can not find a reference for Australia!
I think its an amythyst deceiver, laccaria amethystina
Unusual color! I don't know much about mushrooms :P
These are popping up everywhere in my garden.. Can anyone tell me what they are??
